This easy & fun creative exercise is great for language and writing practice. All you need is some images and a computer with internet access. You can start from our templates.
You can let the children choose the images themselves, or you can assign photos randomly.
1. Ask students to write 10 words that describe the image (what is happening, where is it, who is in the picture, how it makes them feel)
2. Next, have them write a short story in which they use those 10 words. The story must have a title and it should be between 10 and 30 sentences – depending on the age and the proficiency of students.
3. Ask students to save the story as PDF and upload it to your class on flipsnackedu.com.
4. Make a collection of the best PDF stories and turn it into a flipbook. I’m sure it will look great!
Share the final flipbook with parents, school and with us! We can’t wait to read the stories your students wrote!
